Rental Requirements: A 3-night minimum stay is required for the High/Summer Season period between Thursday, May 25 through Monday, September 4, 2006. Otherwise, a 2-night minimum stay is required during the Mid/Low seasons. Guests must be over 21 years of age and be a major credit card holder. Name(s), address, phone/e-mail contact information, and number of guests for occupancy requirements will also be required at time of booking.
Deposit Requirements: For reservations made more than 30 days prior to arrival, a check for a deposit and guest's major credit card number (as damage deposit guarantee) are required to hold reservations. A twenty-five percent (25%) deposit is required for all bookings made more than 30 days prior to arrival. Special deposit requirements apply to Winter Texan bookings of up to a month or more. Inquire.
Prepayment/Final Payment Requirements: All rentals must be prepaid 30 days prior to arrival. Prepayments must be made by check payable to Tropical Hideaway Rentals or using guest's major credit card which will be processed through PayPal. Instructions will be provided at time of confirmation. The cleaning fee required to cover the cost of returning the unit to standard, as explained on the Rates page, will be paid by check at check-out or charged to guest's credit card upon departure. Guests must also agree to pay for any damages they cause to the owners' unit or property during their stay.
Cancellation Policies: Any cancellation after deposit and/or prepayment is made is subject to a $100 penalty fee of monies paid up until 15 days prior to scheduled arrival. Within 2 weeks prior to arrival, all payments made are non-refundable. We strongly recommend trip cancellation and interruption insurance.
Check-In/Check-Out Procedures: Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Check-out time is 12:00 pm. Key & contact information is provided with final confirmation upon receipt of final payment.
General Information: As owners' representatives, we consider ourselves stewards of the their properties. We require full name(s), addresses and phone numbers of guests occupying any condominium. Because experience has told us "that rarely do good things happen," we regret we must decline the accommodation of student groups, college/young adult groups, condominium rentals post-prom, post-graduation, etc., (even with parent chaperones). Consideration of our owners and full time residents is a priority to us. Due to a current lack of meeting space, Tropical Hideaway may not be the best choice for large families and groups -- especially during high season this year. We will be happy to discuss any future, potential group with you, personally.
